Built in 1851 at the end of the rue d'Orfeuil, this washhouse was designed by Langres architect Rodolphe Petitjean and built by Robert l'aîné, a Bourbonne-les-Bains contractor. The washhouse and rinsing room were housed in a covered hall that could accommodate 80 women. The open side features four elegant cast-iron pillars.
