A very fine wash-house opened by three arches with engaged pillars, arcades and antique columns. Access from the side reveals features that were much appreciated by the washerwomen: niches with shelves, a drainage channel for draining the washing, water circulation from the fountain to the basins and troughs. Outside, a large paving slab forms a semi-circular draining and drinking trough*. * It is used to wash and water the horses.
