Situated in the centre of the village and recently restored, this charming wash-house has a campanile, a small tower bearing four clock faces, topped by a bell with a hammer. Beautiful hedgehog paving leads to the fountain, which supplies water to a large trough. For the sake of hygiene, a low wall and ornamental grille separated this area, which was used to water the animals, from the sheltered washing area. On the façade, a stone pillar in the centre supports the framework. The plaque pays tribute to Nicolas-Prosper Hemonnot, who founded the current washhouse in 1893.
