La Roche Bernard is classified as a nature reserve, and boasts a rich diversity of species. In the surrounding area, you'll find downy oaks, white alders and a shrubby flora that includes Saint Lucia cherry, purgative buckthorn, fetid hellebore and lemon balm... Walkers can admire the "submontane" and "sub-Mediterranean" plants on the south side of the rock and the opposite north side.
At the top, you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Lavaux Valley and take advantage of the picnic area for a little gourmet break.
