The pond has existed since 1754, when the imposing dyke was built to control the waters of the Sueurre, a tributary of the Rognon. Resurgences feed the pond with cold, crystal-clear water that is ideal for the development and combativeness of salmonids. These qualities make "la combe des eaux bleues" a rare site for sport fishing and sight fishing for trout. From the shore or from a boat, fly-fishermen of all levels can indulge their passion and practise their art in complete tranquillity.
