The spa town of Bourbonne-les-Bains has been known since ancient times for the curative properties of its waters. The first inhabitants of the region bathed in pools fed by hot springs. As far back as 2000 years ago, Roman centurions came to our resort to take the waters. Convinced that the warmth of the water was due to the gods, the first spa-goers thanked the divine couple Borvo and Damona for their cures. But this alternative to conventional medicine has evolved considerably over the ages. This is what I'd like you to discover as you wander through the streets of my town.
