The Jean Breton school complex, which was inaugurated in 1980 and houses the elementary classes, has been expanded over the last 30 years to include a two-class nursery school in 1991 and an extra-curricular reception and canteen building in 2014. The school complex also houses the municipal library.
Since 2004, the school centre has welcomed children from Saints Geosmes and Balesmes, as well as from Noidant-le-Rocheux, Courcelles en montagne, Bourg, Chatenay Macheron and Saint Maurice. The children are divided by level into the 6 classes of the primary school. In September 2017, responsibility for school and after-school care passed to the Communauté de Commune du Grand Langres (CCGL). Children can still enrol at the village school at the town hall, but school life and after-school activities are now managed on the premises of the Communauté de Commune, which is responsible for enrolment at the after-school care centre and canteen. In 2017, the teaching team of 8 teachers and 2 ATSEMs looked after 134 children.
In September 2017, the CCGL decided to return to a 4-day school week. Children now attend classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8.45am to 12pm and from 1.30pm to 4.15pm.
After-school care is organised at the centre in collaboration with the association "La Montagne", in the mornings before school from 7.15am, at lunchtime with or without a meal, and in the evenings after school until 6.30pm or even 7pm. During the school term, children are looked after on Wednesdays in the after-school building from 8am to 6pm, under the responsibility of the commune of Sts Geosmes and in collaboration with the "La Montagne" association. Childcare is also available on the premises of the CCGL in Langres.
