The priory gate, which has been owned by the commune since 1999, comes from the choir of Morimond Abbey. Dismantled during the French Revolution along with 4 others, 5 railings were transferred to Langres Cathedral at the request of the Bishop of Langres. For a time, two of them surrounded the ambulatory of Saint-Mammès. When major works were carried out in the Cathedral, these last two were dismantled and sold. We do not know the exact date when the Chassigny grille was installed, but the construction on which it is based dates from the 19th century. The grille was included in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments by order of 8 November 1987.
