Farmers for generations, our family cultivates this land with passion. In 2017, we took a new step by creating our own oil mill.
Our aim? To control the entire cycle, from sowing to bottling, to offer you the very best of our harvests.
The strength of the Langres terroir
We are fortunate to produce on the Langres plateau, a terroir of character that gives us a great deal. This unique soil and authentic climate give our seeds (rapeseed, sunflower, hemp, etc.) an intensity and aromatic richness that only our region can offer.
Conservation farming for a living earth
Because we are the guardians of this terroir, we practise conservation farming. By doing away with ploughing and favouring permanent soil cover, we protect the biodiversity and fertility of our fields. Soil that is respected means oil that is healthier and richer in nutrients.
Total respect for the product: Cold pressing and decanting
To extract this treasure, we stick to a 100% natural method:
Unlike in the industry, oils are often heated to over 200° and chemically treated.
With us, the temperature does not exceed 40°. By respecting the low temperature, we don't burn the nutrients and you'll find all the vitamins, omega 3, 6 and 9 as well as the vitamins and natural antioxidants in the seed in every bottle.
The decanting process: We don't use filtration. The oil simply follows a natural decantation path where time does its work. This slow process ensures that all the creaminess and richness of the raw product is retained, without ever damaging it.
