The charming Fontaine du Centre is a fountain-washhouse that allows you to work standing up. It is fed by a spring located under the lane just behind it. This fountain-washing trough, which was covered in 1896, was renovated in 1987 by several local councillors supported by a dynamic team of volunteers. It is made up of 3 successive troughs: the first two, fitted with washing stones, were used by washerwomen who came to rinse their washing, sheltered under the lean-to, while the last was used as a drinking trough for cattle.
