This east-facing fountain, at the top of the Côte des Trois Rois, served the Louot district, which was particularly well-suited to market gardening because of its orientation (the first rays of sunlight lessened the effect of frosts). Like the Saint-Didier fountain, it has a drinking trough and a foot bath for horses to relax in after climbing the particularly steep slope. This "ford" has retained all of its original paving and ashlar boundary wall.
