The only fountain within the walls of the town (now closed), its last restoration work appears to have been carried out at the end of the 19th century, when water was supplied (see above). Located in the middle of the Sous-Murs district, this hydrant was particularly useful to the tanners who worked here. The topography was ideal for tapping the first springs that were essential for leather processing.
