The fountain at Noidant-le-Rocheux still flows into its catchment basin, which once distributed water to four troughs (two on each side of the basin). These troughs are now used for flowering in the village. The water gushes out of the zoomorphic spout, often embodied in the region by a bronze lion's head, intended to protect the birth of the waters emerging from the earth.
