Although the facade of this traditional house has been rendered later, it still retains its three-bay layout, typical of the agrarian system in north-east France. From left to right, you will find areas that were once used to house large animals, the barn used to store fodder and grain, and the men's living quarters. Note the small round opening known as the "oeil de boeuf" and the Vosges influence visible in the shape of the lintel above the barn door. In the courtyard, an attractive hand pump with a stone trough sits above a coping.
