With its 1,700 km of rivers and lakes, the Haute-Marne offers anglers a privileged setting.

900 km of waterways are classified as 1st category, renowned for salmonids, trout and grayling (on the Marne and Rognon rivers in particular). The 800 km of 2nd category rivers are ideal for fishing for perch, pike, zander and whitefish.

As for the large lakes, anglers will be stalking predators, pike, pike-perch and carp, including night fishing.
