Façade du XVIIIe siècle de Villemoron

Façade du XVIIIe siècle de Villemoron

  • photo

This 18th-century facade, with its numerous lintelled openings and roof dormers, is evidence of an imposing middle-class house in the centre of the village. The monumental fireplace on the ground floor tells us that it was built in 1764 by a local nobleman. On the right, in the courtyard, is the monumental millstone in its trough from the old horse mill, which was once located in the same courtyard on the site of the modern swimming pool.
