The church in Vitry-les-Nogent was rebuilt in 1785-1786 by the contractor Joseph Valter to designs by François Nicolas Lancret. It is an elongated building with an ashlar facade and rubble stone walls. Its nave has 3 vessels with 5 bays. The central part is barrel-vaulted and the side aisles are domed without tombs. The chancel has 2 bays, the first of which is barrel-vaulted and the second cross-vaulted.
