Chamarandes church, 15th century 16th century; 2nd quarter 19th century, was a branch of Brottes and then became an annex of Choignes after the Concordat. On 12 March 1833, Chaussier, an architect from Chaumont, drew up an estimate for the reconstruction of the nave, sacristy and bell tower. The ashlar was to come from the Chamarandes quarries, and the paving was to be made of Brethenay flagstones laid on the rubble from the demolition of the old building. The contract was awarded on 3 May 1833 to Georges Chaudron from Chaumont for 8,000 francs, and acceptance took place on 29 June 1834.
