Saint-Rémy church was rebuilt in 1840, with the exception of the bell tower, which most probably dates back to the 16th century, although an engraved stone in the bell tower bearing the date 1752 led Abbé Roussel to suggest that this was the date it was built. This date is more likely to correspond to a restoration, as the portal, vault and geminated bays all point to a 16th century date.
