The old church of Saint-Rémy stood in the middle of the cemetery. The new church was rebuilt on the present site in 1836. The elongated building comprises an east nave with three naves and seven bays, a tower-porch crowned by a zinc-covered pavilion roof topped by a bulb supported by columns, and a choir consisting of a straight bay and an apse covered by a false barrel vault and a round zinc hipped roof. The church houses the 16th-century tombstone of Perceval de Montarby, Lord of Dampierre, part of Charmoilles and Captain of the Château de Coiffy. He died in 1512 and is depicted in armour and chain mail, with his head resting on an embroidered cushion. An ancient cross made of reused stone is inlaid in a wall. There are also some old statues: the Virgin with grapes, the Virgin with a key and St Rémi.
