The church of Saint-Rémi, rebuilt in the early 16th century (listed as a Historic Monument), boasts the finest Renaissance stained glass in Haute-Marne (17 16th-century windows). The Tree of Jesse, the story of Adam and Eve, the Passion of Christ, the lives of the Saints...

The Entombment or Sepulchre of Saint-Rémy, listed in 1849, is composed of eight human-sized figures and depicts the anointing of the dead Christ in the presence of his mourners. Saved from the revolution at the end of the 19th century and restored for 3 years by the Sciapode workshop, this entombment is characteristic of the so-called Mannerist Renaissance style (influenced by Italian art). This style became established in the Trojan region after 1540.
The recumbent Christ is surrounded by Nicomedes, a Holy Woman, the Virgin supported by Saint John, two other Holy Women each holding a perfume vase, and Joseph of Arimathea wearing the crown of thorns and the shroud.
Only around forty monuments of this type remain in France. Champagne, along with Lorraine, is a privileged area. The Sepulchre of Ceffonds is located in the north chapel of the church.

The church has retained its Romanesque bell tower.
Listed cross in the cemetery.
