The former church of Saint-Maurice de Savigny was located below the current building and was demolished in 1851. The church you can see today was rebuilt at the same time and consecrated on 26 April 1854. It is Gothic in style, with a three-bay nave, a bell tower with a polygonal slate-covered spire, and a choir covered with a six-quarter rib vault, consisting of a straight bay followed by a three-sided apse.
