As can be seen from the date on which the first stone was laid, engraved on the outside, Saint-Maurice church was built in 1857 using ashlar from the Cohons and Noidant quarries. With its elongated floor plan, the building comprises a nave with three four-bay aisles, a tower-porch crowned by a polygonal slate-roofed spire and a single-bay choir covered by a barrel vault.
