A small, homogeneous church with a single nave, Saint-Maur de Celsoy features a bell tower with a corbelled turret and beautiful rib vaults. The church was built between 1376 and 1379, thanks to the generosity of Guibert de Celsoy, physician to three Kings of France (John the Good, Charles V and Charles VII).
Since his death in 1390, the sanctuary has housed a Gothic tomb in his likeness. The scholar is depicted as a "teaching doctor" wearing a long hooded robe and surrounded by his pupils. Listed as a Historic Monument since 9 July 1909.

"Free admission all year round (outside only except for ceremonies).
