The church in Viéville was rebuilt between 1762 and 1766 on a new site, more central than the old one. Elongated in plan, it has a bell tower on the front (adjoining the north wall of the nave), a nave with a single ceilinged nave and a choir with two rib-vaulted bays and a flat chevet. The latter was financed by the villagers. The Bishop of Langres only agreed to the move on condition that the parishioners paid for the construction of the choir, which was normally the responsibility of the decimator. This is why a keystone in the choir bears the date 1764.
