The church at Sarcicourt has an elongated floor plan, with a single nave with a ceiling, preceded by a bell tower-porch (covered in slate). Its 1-bay, rib-vaulted choir with a 3-sided chevet dates from the 2nd half of the 12th century or the 1st half of the 13th century. The choir vault was rebuilt in 1841 (date on the key). As for the nave, in 1779, the Bishop of Langres, Guillaume de la Luzerne, forbade services in the nave until work had been carried out on the north aisle, which was threatening to collapse. The nave was therefore rebuilt after this date and a bell tower-porch was added in the 19th century. The interior was restored in the 1990s and the paintings redone in 2000.
