A historic monument, the church of St-Martin, formerly a branch of Pressigny, became a parish around 1621. The choir was built in the 13th century and the side chapels later. An inscription at the entrance bears the date 1544, which makes it possible to date the bell tower and the start of work on the nave. The keystone of the last bay of the nave bears the date 1597, which marks the end of the building work.
In 1849, the choir vault, originally made of stone, was rebuilt in tufa. The church has been listed on the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques since 21 October 1925.
