Begun in 1863, the church was consecrated in 1893 by the Bishop of Nîmes, Mgr Beguinot, whose father was from Mirbel. With its elongated plan, the building has a 3-vessel nave with 4 bays covered by rib vaults, a rib-vaulted choir with a flat chevet and a slate-roofed bell tower-porch flanked by 2 chapels.
