In the 18th century, the church at Grandchamp was simply a chapel annexed to Coublanc, and was then established as a succursal and vicarial church. In 1803, it was given the title of curial church. The style of the building and the date of the high altar (1834) suggest that Saint-Martin church was built around 1830. Engraved inscriptions at the foot of the jambs of the entrance door recall the start of construction. The elongated building has a single nave with a ceiling, preceded by a tower-porch crowned by a square slate spire. It is flanked at its base by two secondary chapels. The choir consists of an apse with a cul-de-four vault. The western portal, the base of the nave, the quoins and the bays are all of dressed stone, while the rest of the building is of rubble stone.
