It was built in the late 15th century in the flamboyant Gothic style. It was consecrated on 15 July 1571 by Bishop François Mangeard, known as Comestor.
It was listed as a Historic Monument on 20 January 1944.
A high altar, with a gilded tabernacle and two statues, was created in 1701 by Jean-Baptiste Bouchardon (1667-1741). It was listed as a Movable Heritage Site by the Monuments Historiques on 2 April 1908.
