The church of Saint-Martin is unusual in that it was rebuilt because of an error in the choice of stone. In fact, it was rebuilt between 1766 and 1769, to the plans of the architect Mauperrin, using rotten stone. It therefore had to be completely rebuilt in 1789-1790 (this time to the designs of architect Pierre Marie Mangot). The building is in the form of a Latin cross, with a nave of four bays and side aisles pierced by semi-circular bays. The polygonal choir is rib-vaulted and framed by an ambulatory leading to two sacristies to the north and south. It was rebuilt between 1852 and 1856 to plans by the architect Delaveuve.
