EGLISE SAINT-LEGER DE MACONCOURT

EGLISE SAINT-LEGER DE MACONCOURT

The elongated chancel of Maconcourt church dates back to the 13th century. It comprises two rib-vaulted bays with a flat chevet and triplet. The nave has a single nave with a ceiling and appears to date from the 15th century. The bell tower was built at the expense of Jean-Baptiste Morot in 1884 (inscription on the tympanum), who also donated stained glass windows to the church in Domrémy. The bell tower is framed by two chapels and covered by a polygonal slate spire.
