Eglise Saint-Isidore de Flagey

Saint-Isidore church has a choir dating from the 12th century. The nave may have been built at the same time, but its roof structure seems to have been rebuilt in the 15th century. As the inscriptions on the stones of the buttresses indicate, the tower-porch was built in 1724 with a pavilion roof covered in slate. The elongated building comprises a single-span nave covered by an exposed wooden roof frame and a panelled barrel vault, and a narrower, two-bay choir separated by a double arch and covered by a barrel vault.
