Eglise Saint-Georges de Lavilleneuve-aux-Fresnes

Eglise Saint-Georges de Lavilleneuve-aux-Fresnes

Saint-Georges church has an elongated floor plan. Its choir, with a flat chevet pierced by a single bay, probably dates from the end of the 12th century. It was enlarged by rebuilding the nave (with a flat vault and two round arched bays) in the third quarter of the 18th century. Access to the bell tower is via an interior timber-framed turret.
