Saint-Genest church has an elongated floor plan. The flamboyant Gothic choir bears the date 1559 (pile to the left of the altar). It is built of ashlar and vaulted with ogives. It has three bays and ends in a three-sided apse. Two of the three bays in the apse are walled in. The rubble stone nave has four bays, the first of which, narrower than the others, opens onto the side chapels. These have hagioscopes. The south chapel is rib-vaulted. The nave, built in 1822 (as confirmed by the date inscribed on the cross over the portal), is lit by two series of three bays and covered by a basket-handle ceiling. The bell tower, which bears the dates 1620 and 1753, is made of ashlar and stands above the south chapel. While the choir is covered in tortoiseshell tiles, the nave is covered in mechanical tiles and the bell tower in slate.
