St Gal's church has an elongated floor plan, with a 3-vessel nave with 5 rib-vaulted bays and a chancel with one rib-vaulted bay and a flat chevet. Dated around 1230-1240, the base of the bell tower dates from the 13th century, but the upper storeys were built in the 19th century (one bell dates from 1821), as was the stair turret.
