Originally, Pisseloup had no church. With the risk of war averted, the inhabitants decided in 1701 to build a cultural edifice. In 1773, a nave was added, along with a porch bell tower, which was replaced in 1879 by the one that still stands today. The church has an elongated plan and is built of plastered sandstone rubble. It comprises a neo-Gothic tower-porch, a two-bay nave, a one-bay choir and a sacristy. While the western bay of the nave has a ceiling, the choir and the eastern bay of the nave have a concave ceiling. The polygonal spire of the bell tower is covered in slate; the body of the building is covered by a long-sloped roof with pebbled tiles. Due to a lack of funds, the tympanum has not been sculpted.
