EGLISE SAINT-EVRE DE PAROY-SUR-SAULX

EGLISE SAINT-EVRE DE PAROY-SUR-SAULX

This building dates back to the 12th century but has been altered several times. The choir vaults and corner buttresses were rebuilt in the first half of the 13th century and the entire choir was raised. The side walls of the nave and the upper two-thirds of the west façade were rebuilt probably in the 18th century; the width of the 12th-century west portal was also reduced at this time. The nave was originally vaulted, as the beginnings of vaults can still be seen in the attic.
