  • photo

Frécourt church was begun in 1893 and consecrated in 1902, as the two inscriptions on the jambs of the entrance door indicate. The elongated building comprises a three-bay nave with three naves, a tower-porch crowned with a polygonal slate-roofed spire, two secondary chapels and a choir consisting of a straight bay and a three-sided apse covered with a six-quarter rib vault. The bell tower, bays, buttresses and chains are of ashlar, while the rest of the building is of rubble stone.
