Eglise Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption de Treix

Eglise Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption de Treix

The parish church of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption is entirely rib-vaulted. Its two-bay chancel dates from the late 15th century, with modifications in the 16th century. The nave has a single nave of two bays. It is preceded by a bell tower-porch rebuilt (with the nave) between 1769 and 1771 to the designs of architect François Mauperrin at a cost of 10,790 l.
