The choir bay of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption church appears to date from the second half of the 12th century. The dating of the rest of the building is more uncertain. The neo-classical character of the whole could suggest the second half of the 18th century. In the nave, on the north side, a washbasin in a niche that can be stylistically linked to the 15th century has survived. In 1861, the town council discussed the need to rebuild the choir, and voted a budget of 5,000 francs, based on an estimate by the architect Godard. The project never seems to have materialised, apart from the triplet in the chevet.
