Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church in Jorquenay is thought to have been built around 1378 by the local lord, Jean de Marville, where he was buried after his death. The elongated building has a single nave with a ceiling, a tower-porch crowned with a square slate-roofed spire and a single-span rib-vaulted choir ending in a flat chevet. he nave and bell tower were rebuilt at the end of the 18th century.
