Créancey church was consecrated on 23 September 1526. It is an elongated building with a five-bay nave and side aisles, and a two-bay choir with a flat chevet pierced by a triplet with wide ashlar mullions. The church has a crypt giving access to the Saint-Jean fountain, which has now dried up. Until the 19th century, the spring was believed to be miraculous for children's health.
