Eglise de l'Assomption-de-Notre-Dame de Tronchoy

Eglise de l'Assomption-de-Notre-Dame de Tronchoy

The church of l'Assomption-de-Notre-Dame was rebuilt in 1630 by the Jesuits of Langres, who had become its owners. It was destroyed in 1815 and rebuilt in 1838. In May 1870, the architect Henri Brocard drew up plans to rebuild the bell tower on the façade, whereas it had previously stood on the choir. The building comprises a nave with a single nave ceiling, a bell tower-porch crowned by a polygonal slate-roofed spire and a choir with a single cross-vaulted bay.

The exterior is open all year round.
