The church of Montlandon was the seat of a parish administered by the Chapter of Langres, with the chapel of Celsoy as an annex. The Church of the Nativity of Our Lady dates from the second half of the 13th century or the first half of the 14th century. It was remodelled and enlarged in the second half of the 19th century with the erection of the bell tower and the reconstruction, it seems, of the nave in the neo-Gothic style. Montlandon church has a Latin cross plan. The nave has a single nave with two bays. The bell tower, crowned by a polygonal stone spire, is attached to the south wall of the first bay of the nave. Two chapels on either side of the third nave bay form a projecting false transept. The two-bay choir ends in a flat chevet pierced by a large ogival bay. The sacristy is located against the south wall of the choir.
