The God of Pity is a statue in a niche at the entrance to the village. It depicts Christ seated, his wrists bound and crowned with thorns, about the natural size of a small man. This monument was erected for Jean Labbé, a stonemason in the village, in front of his house around 1830. The older statue dates from the 16th century and was hidden in the attic of the neighbouring house, perhaps during the Revolution.
