There is nothing remarkable about the architecture of this cross. In the traditional place of Christ and the Virgin Mary, it features a crown and a five-pointed star. The golden crown represents divine royalty, the symbol of Christ, and the five-pointed star, also known as the Star of the Sea or Mary Stella, represents the Virgin Mary. These symbols, which were once well understood by the parishioners of Verseilles-le-Haut, are perfectly suited to this cross.
