At the entrance to the cemetery, we see a large, particularly elaborate 16th-century cross hosannière, which appears to be part of a series of three crosses of similar design in the surrounding area: the large cross hosannière in the cemetery of Verseilles-le-Bas, with its fleur-de-lys shaft, and the equally richly decorated cross at the top of Brennes, also with its fleur-de-lys shaft (an identical copy of which can be seen in the cemetery of the same village). However, the cross in the cemetery at Verseilles-le-Haut, whose shaft (and no doubt the scrolls of the cross) was broken when it was hidden during the Revolution, was reassembled with a column from the cross at La Montagne on a borrowed base. In its current state, it has been classified as an historical monument since 3 November 1925.
