Situated in front of the church, the large 15th-century cemetery cross (the cemetery having been moved) is worked in the form of a Calvary, with a remarkable Trojan-style deploration of Christ at the base of the column. Its shaft is decorated with numerous liturgical and Christian symbols (candlesticks, bunches of grapes, stars) or secular symbols (escutcheons) with scallops, showing that Rivière-les-Fosses was still in the 15th century on a branch of the great pilgrimage route from Langres to Rome and Santiago de Compostela via Dijon (Calvary classified as a historic monument on 9 July 1909).
