The Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels de Champagne-Ardenne is a not-for-profit association under the law of 1901, whose aim is to preserve the region's outstanding natural environments.

- Knowledge :
Knowing and understanding our natural heritage to better protect it. This involves scientific studies of certain species or environments.

- Protecting :
To protect a natural site on a long-term basis, the Conservatoire works with the owners (private or public)... In Haute-Marne, the CenCA manages emblematic environments such as the Chalmessin National Nature Reserve, the Taloison hillock or the Chézeaux marshes...

- Managing :
Sustainable management to conserve biodiversity. The aim is to act (or not) on the environment to ensure that conditions are compatible with the ecological requirements of the species.

- Enhance :
Raising awareness so that as many people as possible can discover the richness and fragility of the local flora and fauna...
